Hi, I’m Sid
I never had a “dream job” growing up. As a high schooler I always joked around that nobody ever dreams of work. I’d argue most of us just want to spend time with the people we love, do the things we love to do, and live a long, healthy life. If you’re lucky enough to find a job that allows you to do those things while helping others, you’ve hit the jackpot. And I definitely have.
I’m so very grateful to spend my work day making people’s lives better. To see people gain confidence in their abilities is one of my favorite parts of being in the health field. Watching them feel comfortable moving, laughing, and just living in their own body again makes me so proud. Clients turn into friends and family very quickly. It takes a lot of vulnerability to work with a personal trainer, to join a group class, to decide you want better for yourself and your life.
I believe by healing ourselves we have the power to heal our world around us, and I love helping people see it.
Get to know me
When I’m not at the gym you can find me outside hiking, biking, and exploring. I enjoy many hobbies, usually hyper-fixating on one for a few weeks before jumping to something else. Recently I’ve been enjoying pottery, baking, painting, and crochet (haven’t fully mastered this one yet).
Visiting new places with family and friends is also a very important part of my life. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to travel with my loved ones, it’s a huge regulator for me. My passion for health and wellness goes deeper than the physical element of fitness. How we nurture our mind and soul plays a gigantic role not just in our mental health, but our physical health as well. Finding ways to relieve stress and just have fun have done wonders for my health. I hope I am able to inspire others to do the same.
My Approach to Fitness
Connection
Working out with anyone takes vulnerability from both sides. I believe in creating an open and respectful relationship with my clients so they can feel comfortable and confident when working out with me or on their own.
Enjoyment
Moving your body should be fun. You’re more likely to be consistent if you look forward to making yourself better every day. My goal is to create an upbeat environment that everyone is excited to be a part of. Keep it light, build habits, and have a blast all while strengthening our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Balance
Everything in moderation, even the healthy stuff. Take the time to workout and eat well, but don’t forget to find time to hangout with friends, go to that concert, and eat a doughnut when you’re at a bakery. Live your life but be disciplined when it comes to your health.
